The hive of activity continues at Newmarket Randwick.
As five of our retailers prepare to open their doors to the public in January 2020, last remaining touches are being added to the external dining precinct of Newmarket Rensidences. Canopies to the retail precinct are almost complete and external landscaping works throughout the external dining area are not far behind.
Public Art specialists Urban Art Project (UAP) and The Blueprint have completed their commissioned art pieces, engaged directly to Cbus Property. UAP being responsible for the central dining artwork installation which now lifts the external space, showcasing beautiful horse shoe profiled elements. The Blueprint being responsible for the Wayfinding and Heritiage Interpration elements which are scattered throughout the whole eastern precinct of Newmarket, retelling the rich history of this amazing site.
For those that have noted the restriction on access to Newmarket over the last 5 months, Young Street’s northern section is now completed all the way down to Middle Street, and will be opened back up to the Public in the new year.
All Newmarket Residences are now finished with quality checks taking place across the apartments and common areas. Meanwhile, works within Figtree Pocket apartments are ongoing and external works due to start shortly. Qaulity checks within Grandview and Oakview apartments have already commenced.
We’ve also achieved significant progress within Inglis Park’s amazing green space, soon to be the social heart of Newmarket’s new community. Hardscape works are nearing completion, along with timber carpentry works around the new Picnic Area and Old Fig Tree Deck. Softscape planting is adding to the existing greenery of the precinct while the Sales Ring Children’s Playground is very near completion.
