Back to all NEWMARKET IS IDEAL FOR YOUNG FAMILIES

Finding a village feel close to the Sydney CBD is becoming increasingly difficult and for the young Zhang family, it was exactly this that drew them to Newmarket Randwick, an exciting mixed-use precinct developed by Cbus Property.

The Zhangs have recently moved into their three-bedroom apartment in Stage 1 of the project, Newmarket Residences, with wife and mother, Bianca, saying her family was looking forward to embracing the convenient eastern suburbs location and sense of community.

Being new to Randwick, Bianca and her husband had the area recommended to them by family and friends who live nearby.

“We love the location being close to the city where I work, close to the beaches, parks, hospital and shops,” Bianca said.

“We like the fact that it was the old Inglis site with rich history that has been turned into a brand new community that has a village feel about it, and the old sales ring has been turned into a massive playground – for someone like us with a little toddler, this is a big bonus.“

The Zhangs had been in the market for a new home for about two months when Colliers International introduced them to Newmarket Randwick. Bianca said there were several benefits of choosing to live in an apartment with a family.

“Living in an apartment is safe, less maintenance work and convenient,” she said.

“I like the size of the balcony, it’s perfect for entertainment; and the big windows that can maximise the sun light and cross ventilation. In addition, there are usually more amenities near apartment complexes.”

Bianca said her family was looking forward to becoming regulars at the cafes and restaurants in the vibrant retail piazza, Newmarket Dining, including Baccomatto Osteria, Café McKenzie and Cali Press, and hoped to see a metro supermarket or convenience store open in the future.
